Twin Shores Campground Summer Vacation with Family - August 2018
Scott's sister Pam and her husband Trevor have a seasonal campsite they enjoy throughout the summer closer to Montague but take a week's vacation at Twin Shores Camping Area. We booked a week in conjunction with their vacation and had a great time.
Twin Shores is a large park with wooded and open areas nestled between Darnley Basin and the north shore, Gulf of St.Lawrence. Bordered on 3 sides by water and plenty of beaches, they offer activities every night and during the day for kids. You can walk for miles or just hang out on the beaches.
We loved it.
Our niece Emily has a gaggle of friends camping there. They run, laugh, swim, craft, play.... great to see kids enjoying the outdoors so much.
Our favorite night time activity, kids and adults alike, was Chocolate Bar Bingo. Ante in for a chocolate bar per card. Winners win the bars. I was lucky enough to win 35 bars.
Top prize that night was over 100 bars.
