Montague, now part of Three Rivers, is on the east side of PEI on the Montague River. It is Scott's home town and is also the largest "town" in PEI behind Charlottetown and Summerside. He left the island to work in Ontario in 1988 but went back to visit almost every summer since. Montague has changed a lot, particularly in the 14 years I've been visiting with Scott. The waterfront has been cleaned up and is gorgeous now with something going on every weekend in the summer. We had so much fun getting to join family and rediscovering PEI.
Artists on Main is a great store, run by local artists. Kayak and SUP rentals on the wharf along with easy access to the confederation trail for biking or walking.
