Week 6 - June 24 - 30 2019... Bunkie completed, Evan Visits

A gorgeous start to the week. Scott got the shed doors done on Monday, stairs were up on Tuesday and the upstairs (Bunkie for Evan's visit with Hope this weekend) got a window and door by Wednesday.

I started the week painting the siding which Scott needed to replace the heat damage off the BBQ a few weeks ago at his moms.  Also spent time moving everything we had stored in the house to the shed so we can start the main floor destruction.  The fragile things were carried individually but most of it went by tractor... it was so much fun putzing along in the tractor (uneven ground) on a beautiful sunny day.

Scott has been very excited to get moving on the main floor and put a huge dent in it on Thursday.  Scott's mom was expecting surgery on Thursday and was disappointed when it was postponed until August as she really just wants to get it over with (cancer needs to be removed from her nose). I'd been expecting to spend this time with her but continued work on the upstairs. We really hope to have the destruction done by the end of the week outside of taking up the main floor floor.

It was a bit tough to match up the siding colour but got it pretty close in the end. Another repair done.

We have very much been looking forward to Evan coming to visit and meeting his girlfriend, Hope.  The weather has been less than cooperative so far but we've had a great time anyway. They tell us the bunkie is great, warm and comfortable.

Outside of the beautiful vistas and beaches we haven't seen much off due to rain and fog, the other things on the must do list included seafood for Hope, Ice Cream for all and Hot Sauce.

We didn't know it but Evan and his friends love trying out different hot sauces and he was thrilled to discover "Maritime Madness" made in Montague and sold throughout the Maritimes.
Had a fun night with family (no pics) last night and looking forward to the Cardigan Parade tomorrow (Please STOP Raining)
