Interior Walls Framed In (Oct 28 - Nov 03, 2019)
It was all about framing the interior walls this week. We've named the rooms so we know which room we are talking about at any particular time. Using considerable imagination, there is a "master" with ensuite, "guest" and "kids". They are all roughly the same size. The "kids" will have 2 twin beds rather than a queen but they could be pushed together to make a king if preferred.

I spent some time cutting and placing drywall to fit the open spaces between the floors along the north and south walls. The drywall with act as a firebreak, slowing the rise of fire between floors in the event of one. Other jobs included more wood sorting, stacking, cleaning up after my builder who creates a fair bit of sawdust :-) and fine tuning the electrical plan.

| Emiy and Pam on Halloween |
Veda wasn't feeling well on Thursday so I spent stayed overnight while her fever subsided. It also happened to be Halloween and there were a few family visitors. Matt and Chas came with Dom and Kayla, Pam with Emily as well as Vanessa with Zeke and Chloe.
Kind of a rainy night but it looks like they were having fun. I was a bit slack and only got a picture of Emily/Pam - the rest looked great too.

| Maximum items reached |
Veda was feeling better Friday morning so Scott and I headed to Home Depot in Charlottetown to avoid shopping for plumbing bits on the weekend. When I say plumbing bits I really mean 2 carts full of bits, pex, copper, a hot water heater and one toilet to get us started. This required 4 carts of varying descriptions, 2 trips to the car and a cashier who was very surprised when the computer stopped ringing in due to " Maximum number of items reached". She'd been there 15 years and it had never happened. Even she took a picture. Really good thing we didn't go on Saturday.
Scott has he work cut out for him again. I'm going to stay away if I can - he doesn't like plumbing too much and there is a whole house to do.
Another beautiful evening. Relaxing weekend.
